Do I have to find my own accommodation after entering Germany?
No. Immediately after entry into Germany, you can stay for up to 14 days in central provisional accommodation provided by the German Government. After that you will be allocated to a Land (federal state). You will then be given accommodation in a city or municipality in the Land in question.
